The Mail reports Michael Jackson’s demands at the Dorchester during his recent stay included non-reflective sheets to block out sunlight, an unlimited supply of organic fruit, egg whites and nuts and extra room for his personal “blow-up mattress.”

Jacko’s ‘Men In Black II’ Requests

June 27, 2002 – US Weekly reports made some big-star demands when he appeared in the movie ‘Men In Black II’, despite the fact that he only has a brief cameo. Jackson, after being cast, immediately began asking director Barry Sonnenfeld, “Is this a recurring role? Will I be in a lot of scenes?” He was told no. Jacko also requested to be on the film’s poster, but movie bosses rejected the request. He was able to wear the outfit he requested though, getting to wear the same black suit worn by stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Leno Jokes About Jacko And Pinocchio

June 27, 2002 – Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday, “Finally, old friend back in the news again. We talked about this yesterday. Michael Jackson was spotted this week flying on the Concorde from London, England, wearing some kind of bizarre facemask, while accompanied by a puppet in the next seat named Pinocchio. This is the one time Pinocchio was glad he was not a real-live boy.”

Marlon Brando Giving Jacko Acting Lessons

June 27, 2002 – Cindy Adams of the New York Post reports Marlon Brando has been making several visits a week to Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch to give the singer one-on-one dramatic lessons, in Jacko’s effort to transition from singing to acting. Jackson’s Neverland Pictures company is set to film a thriller called ‘Wolfed’, which will star a werewolf dressed Jacko.

June 26, 2002 – CDNow.com’s Miss Truth reports Michael Jackson’s uncredited cameo in ‘Men in Black II’ drew huge laughs when he came on screen at a special screening of the film before its July 3rd opening. Jacko plays an undercover alien intelligence officer.

Recruiting Kiddies For Fan Celebration

June 26, 2002 – Michael Jackson will be attending a ’30 Years of Magic’ Fan Celebration at Webster Hall in New York on Saturday, July 6th. Tickets for the event are $35 and can be purchased at mjfanclub.net. A curious part of the celebration is the fan club’s request saying, “KIDS NEEDED! We are looking for young singers. Is your child at age 3-15 and planning to attend the party?” MSNBC’s Jeannette Walls talked with Jackson biographer Christopher Andersen about the kiddie request. “It’s quite mind boggling,” he said. “It’s quite chilling, given everything that’s happened.”
