Jacko Spent Money Earmarked For Charity On Production

The New York Post has details on Marcel Avram’s $21 million lawsuit against Michael Jackson claiming Jacko beat it instead of performing at two millennium concerts. Avram said the two charity concerts flopped in part because Jackson spent a fortune on an enormous set he called ‘The Bridge to Nowhere.’ He said he had lectured Jackson about it, telling him the money had been earmarked for needy kids. “I said ‘Hey partner!’ This has to go to the children, not your production,” he said.

Marcel Avram and many others only count the money. Sadly many shows in the music business are canceled for bogas reasons. When the Stones failed to do the last few shows in Bangkok they were canceled due to illness or travel conflicts. As Mr Richards fell from a palm tree in Phuket. He looked ok to me. Really quite fine playing with the Thai girls on the beach at the bands favorite hotel(Adamin Phuket).Truth is they don’t “get no satisfaction” from the Thai fans. Alot of shows are covered by a whole tour promoter and if a few dates fall off the tour they are covered by insurance. This is a well known way of doing buisness in the world of Rock and Gold!!!
