Jacko Wins, Kylie Disappoints, And Britney Flops In UK Album Chart

Contributed anonymously:

In this weeks UK albums chart, there were three notable entries. Michael Jackson’s ‘Number Ones’ entered at #1, Kylie Minogue’s ‘Body Language’ entered at a disappointing #6, and Britney Spears’ ‘In The Zone’ flopped, entering at #14. Much was made of the supposed battle between Kylie and Britney for #1, with each of them doing incredible amounts of promotion, but in the end, neither were anywhere near. #14 marks Britney’s worst ever debut placing, even her last album, ‘Britney’, which had very poor total sales in the UK, entered in the top 5 in its first week.

Damn, too bad..I thought she would of sold a lot of albums but sales don’t really matter! MATM also slipped down to #6 I hope she moves up the charts though and #14 is not a flop. At least she made it, into the top #20

When Xtina’s ‘Stripped’ album was released in the UK it’s debut was horrible. Not even in the top 30. It didn’t start moving up the charts till well after Dirrty was released as a single.

Christina has nothing to do with this you hater and before you talk crap you should know your facts bitch Christina’s album debuted at the top 20 you are one of the reasons why they have this rivalry both of them are beautiful so what if Britney’s album flops the important is she is making us fans happy don’t hate on Britney and Christina

Christina’s ‘Stripped’ did debut outside the top 30 in the UK and fell in the weeks following. It wasn’t till more than a month after it’s release that it started to move up the UK Album Chart.
