July 26, 2003 – The Sun reports Michael Jackson is launching his own men’s clothing range to be sold in Japan. A spokesman for Wakita, who will make the gear, says: “There is a growing popularity among young men in Japan for dark suits. Jackson, who has a huge following here, fits that rising fashion image.”
Jacko Impersonator Gets Verbal Abuse
July 24, 2003 – Mike Walker of the National Enquirer reports ‘Scary Movie 3’ producers hired a Michael Jackson look-alike to parody the Gloved One, but the guy received a lot of abuse when he strolled onto the location set. “Child abuser!,” screamed onlookers. The guy insisted, “I’m not Michael Jackson – I’m just an actor who looks like him!” The crowd continued to hurl insults as security hustled him back to his dressing trailer until it was actually time to head before the cameras.
