Jackson Holds 1st Ever Record Signing

was at the Virgin Megastore in New York City for his first ever record signing for his new album “Invincible” today. Michael talked to MTV’s Carson Daly and BET’s AJ and Free.

The King of Pop wore a blue satin shirt with matching pants at the well-attended event.

Carson Talks To Jacko On ‘TRL’

November 7, 2001 – Carson Daly talked to from his record signing at New York’s Virgin Megastore in Times Square today where Jackson talked about having the #1 album around the world saying, “It’s a great honor. I’m very happy about it. We worked very hard on it and, uh, I’m blessed, uhm, that — that the fans accepted it the way they did and, uh, I’m very honored, I really am. I don’t take anything for granted. Every time there’s a number 1 album or song, I fee excited as if there is the first one, so I’m very happy about that.”

Jackson also talked about his own influences after Carson mentioned Michael is the influence of every musician he’s ever spoke with saying, “Uh, lots of artists, uh, mostly entertainers. I would say, uhm, Sammy Davis Jr., James Brown, Jackie Wilson, uh, there’s so many great singers from Aretha Franklin to Streisand and I love Beatles music. I just love great, great music.”

Jacko A Jehovah’s Witness?

November 7, 2001 – WENN reports is admitting to going door to door spreading the word of God in disguise. Jackson says, “I’ve done it, you know, we call it pioneering. We do 90 hours a month. I don’t do as much now because I’m busy. You go door to door. I wear a fat suit, pop-bottle glasses, mustache, buck teeth and, like, an Afro wig. And I knock on the door and say we’re Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
