Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada was on the Howard Stern show on Tuesday to talk about how he introduced Michael Jackson to his 13-year-old molestation accuser. Jamie said that he doesn’t think that the family is after money. He said they live in a one room apartment and have never asked for money from any of these other celebrities. Jamie said that the kid is still very sick and one of his kidney’s is failing. He doesn’t even know if he will survive. He said he hasn’t discussed the charges with the family because he is more concerned about the kid’s health. Dad Plans Custody Fight For Michael Jackson’s Accuser
December 4, 2003 – The New York Daily News reports that the father of the Michael’s accuser plans to launch a gloves-off battle for custody of the teen on Friday, his lawyer said. “My client has been in hiding, basically,” said Russell Halpern. “And now he’s coming out swinging.” He explained, “We’re going to be bringing up a lot of things she wouldn’t want public. She’s been locked up in a mental institution, and she suffers from psychosis.”
