Sky News reports made a broadcast statement regarding her Super Bowl halftime performance on Tuesday evening. In the public apology, which was taped in Los Angeles, Janet said: “My decision to change the Super Bowl performance was actually made after the final rehearsal. What does _she_ really care? I mean she got the publicity for her single/album/whatever. On second thoughts, I hope her new stuff bombs. She’s old and over-rated.

at least her apology was sincere. this makes Justin look like an ass with his “wardrobe malfunction” statement.

I just don’t get why she’s even apologizing and insisting that it wasn’t her intention for it to go that far. I mean, when you have anyone pulling off your clothes & exposing your boob, something is bound to happen!! It’s not like she planned to do this whole boob-exposing thing and hoped that it’d go awry and result in a “wardrobe malfunction” as JT put it. She knew it’d work and people all across the country would see it. Janet knew what she was doing and what would come of it. I wish she’d stop with this whole act of being sorry for what she did.

The best thing about this whole brouhaha is the new phrase “wardrobe malfunction.” That is the best new phrase I’ve heard. It has found its way into American lexicon, and I think we all love it. That Justin is a clever wordsmith!
