Janet Jackson issued a press release Monday announcing she has cancelled her European tour due to safety concerns following the terror attacks in the United States on September 11.
Jackson said in a statement, “My European fans are among the most loyal and I was very excited to share this show with them. I have agonized over this decision,” she added. “Like most people the events of Sept. 11 have troubled me enormously and I remain concerned about the foreseeable future.”
Jackson may reschedule the cancelled shows next year. In the meantime, fans can get refunds at point of purchase.
