Janet Jackson Hit Missy’s Album Release Party
The New York Daily News reports that Missy Elliott backed out of attending a party for her new album ‘Under Construction’ at the Roxy on W. 18th St. Tuesday night with a club rep citing “security concerns.” The rapper instead held a smaller party at Lotus on W. 14th St. Attendees included Janet Jackson, Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Faith Evans, Ginuwine and Pepa.
