Us Weekly reports Janet Jackson laughed “hysterically” at the LaToya jokes during a ‘Saturday Night Live’ read-through of a proposed Easter skit involving her brother Michael Jackson during jokes about her sister LaToya Jackson, but was mum during the Jacko gags, despite the fact that none referred to his child molestation case. They report Janet’s handlers demanded the skit be nixed. But ‘SNL’ executive producer Lorne Michaels denied that Janet’s reps stepped in. He told The New York Daily News that the skit survived all the way through blocking and rehearsal, but he decided on his own to pull the plug on Friday night. “It probably would have played funny, but it seemed to make Janet uncomfortable,” Michaels said.

April 14, 2004 – Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com profiled a German man who is now 23-years-old who Michael Jackson befriended when he was 14, first meeting him in 1995. “From then on, [the boy] was always around,” a source revealed. “At the start of the tour in Prague in 1996, during the whole 1997 tour, on theme park visits in 1996 and 1997 in Cologne, Germany. [The boy] was also with Michael for three weeks in Munich in February/March 1998, spent Christmas at Neverland that year.” The man’s father was asked by Friedman the relationship the boy had with Jacko, but wouldn’t comment — and didn’t want to defend the singer in wake of his current child molestation charges.
