Janet Jackson Opens Up About Super Bowl Breast Flash
Janet Jackson has been mum about her Super Bowl breast flash but opened up a bit in an interview with In Touch Weekly magazine. Jackson again insisted the incident was an accident and explained her elaborate nipple ornament saying: “Piercings are my thing. They were not really meant to be shared with the outside world. I felt so awful once the show was over, but I just felt it was my personal morification I had to deal with.” She quickly found out later, at her hotel room, it was much more than a personal embarrassment. “I was staying in a hotel with my friend,” Jackson recalled. “I went to her room, and she put her arms ’round me and told me not to worry. Then she flicked the TV on and there was a man on the news saying Janet Jackson was going to be arrested for indecency at the Super Bowl. I couldn’t believe it. It was like being in a nightmare. That was the first moment it hit me that this thing had really kicked off.”
