Claymates helped overinflate searches for ‘American Idol’ season two runner-up Clay Aiken to #3 on the list (popdirt’s previous analysis showed Aiken’s search interest was artifically generated to get him on the Lycos 50 chart and doesn’t correlate with other search engines), while Britney Spears got the #4 spot.
