Star magazine reports Janet Jackson recently had another diva incident, this time at a private airport in New Jersey. Miss Jackson at first demanded to have her limo go directly to the tarmac, but security regulations have barred that practice since 9.11. So then Janet wanted the terminal cleared – again she was turned down. Finally she insisted that she be guaranteed that no one would look at her or speak to her if she entered the terminal. In the end, they agreed to clear an old terminal under construction for her to enter where she was smuggled through.
Try Try Try Again Says Janet Jackson
May 31, 2002 – Globe magazine reports Janet was quite a picky eater during her stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles. Miss Jackson ordered a room-service spinach salad with egg whites, but sent it back three different times, complaining each time that they had not cooked the dish properly. Luckily, the fourth time was a charm, or at least Janet tired of complaining.

May 22, 2002 – The New York Post reports Janet celebrated her 36th birthday with an A-list party where invitees like Missy Elliott, Jermaine Dupri and Ashanti, who also performed at the event, were given CD’s containing a phone number for the stars to call for the party’s location. Once there, they were treated to a harem of nude go-go girls and guys to strip for the embarrassed audience.
No Fish Ice For Miss Jackson
May 17, 2002 – Star magazine reports Janet Jackson is strict on demanding her dressing room filled with ice, but not ice that smells like fish. Apparently during a tour in 1993-1994, the singer received ice that had previously been used to chill fish. Her contracts since that incident specify, “Fresh clean, crushed or cubed ice. NO FISH ICE.”
