Janet Jackson’s Dressing Room Robber Caught Red-Handed

Launch.com reports Janet Jackson’s dressing room was broken into on Wednesday night while the singer was on stage performing to the packed house at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. Mario Backman was charged by police for burglary after he was caught red-handed by Janet’s manager who apprehended him and called police.

February 3, 2002 – Janet will be making a trio of appearances on talk shows this month. First she’ll be on The Rosie O’Donnell Show February 11. Then Janet is on The Late Show with David Letterman the next day. Finally, look for Miss Jackson on ABC’s “The View” on February 15. Check your local listings.

Reveals Her Thoughts On Marriage

February 3, 2002 – CNN spoke with Janet about several issues including whether the singer still believes in the idea of marriage or if she’d get married again. Janet admits, “At this very moment, I could say to you honestly no, not really. (laugh) I believe in love. I believe in exchanging vows. I believe in not having a piece of paper to validate what you have between the two of you.
