Japanese Princess Marries Commoner
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “Here’s a story that’s causing a huge commotion in Japan. This is a kind of Romeo and Juliet kind of thing. Princess Sayako, a member of Japan’s royal family, renounced her title to marry a commoner. Yeah. Imagine that. A woman of fame and fortune giving up everything to marry a a nobody — to which Britney Spears said, ‘So?’”
