A source who knows Jared Leto tells Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com that reports linking the actor/singer to Britney Spears are untrue. “They basically ran into each other at a party,” said the insider, referring to their appearance at Dolce’s and Ben Affleck’s 31st birthday bash. “Jared thinks it’s hilarious that such a big deal has been made of it all.”

I think Britney is too good for Leto.
First of all, Britney Spears is NOT too good for ANYONE. Second of all, Britney Spears would be LUCKY if Jared Leto showed ANY interest in her at all. Third of all, I agree with babet – the deja vu has arrived once again. Fred Durst, Colin Farrell and on and on. What this woman won’t do for attention is frightening.
I knew they made those stories up from the pics but it would be just like the ditz to fall for her ex’s currently girlfriends ex.
Carpediem’s Mistress…. If it wasn’t for the whole Justin/Cam factor, Jared would be perfect for Britney. He seems real and down to earth, he’s not really into the whole celebrity thing, he tries to really avoid a lot of the celebrity limelight. He would be good for her and too her (I believe) but the Justin/Cam factor makes it seem icky. But you know what, it is so easy for us to sit back and judge. If she wants him she should go for it. A relationship only has to make sense to the 2 people who are in it. Jared is a totally hottie, great actor, and seems to be a real person. Britney would be lucky to have him and he would be lucky to have her. SHE SHOULD GO FOR IT!
I agree with you. They should both go for it. The Justin and Cameron thing has nothing to do with it. It isn’t like any of them were really good friends with each other. This isn’t like going out with your sister/brother/friend ex. This is just two people meeting and liking each other. Look at their pictures together. Looks like a good match. Remember those pictures where they put the two people together and show what their kids would look like???? Well, try to do that in your head with Jared and Britney and then with Cameron and Justin. As much as I hate to admit it – there is no match. Jared and Britney would have decent looking babies. Cameron and Justin – ummmmmmmm – NOT!
