Jason Alexander Not Returning Britney Spears’ Phone Calls

While the marriage to childhood pal Jason Alexander may have been a “joke gone too far,” Us Weekly’s Senior Editor Caroline Schafer tells ‘Extra’ that Britney Spears was not laughing during the ceremony. Schafer says, “We know that Jason had something for Britney for a very long time. Britney was indeed crying at the chapel before she got married. Her hands were shaking.” Us also reports that Spears has been calling Alexander, but that he won’t turn her calls. In Kentwood, opinions about the marriage are split. Jason’s sister says, “We knew it was just a joke.”
