Jason Mraz: No On Prop 8
Jason Mraz checked in with fans on his blog at MySpace on Tuesday (November 4), sharing his thoughts on Proposition 8, which will change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California. The San Diego singer songwriter tells readers:
Please don’t take away our right to choose how we celebrate our love for another. Prop 8 will ban same-sex marriage, actually reversing the current state constitution. Please Vote No on proposition 8 today and show your support for Marriage Equality. THERE IS NO HARM IN IT, Not to children, Not to the elderly, and certainly not to your taxes. There is only love. And besides that, do it for me, for having to create an advertisement on Ian’s underwear last week.
