Another example of Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno, both of NBC, not clearing their monologue jokes with each other. Jay joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday, “After three months, our good friends, Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage, filed for divorce. In fact, today, Jennifer Lopez said, ‘Three months? What’s your secret? How do you keep the spark? What happened? How do you keep it going?’” Later, Conan joked during his Late Night monologue, “Earlier today, big story, Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley announced that they are getting a divorce after four months of marriage. Can you believe that? Four months. Only four months. Yeah. Yeah. After hearing about it, Jennifer Lopez said, ‘Four months? Wow, what was their secret?’”
