Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, “Opening arguments have begun in the Michael Jackson trial. The prosecution for some reason ripped into Jude Law. Why is everybody picking on him? … The prosecuting attorney, Tom Sneddon, said that Jackson presided over Neverland as a a kind of haven for adolescent boys who were allowed to skip school, drink alcohol, view pornography and stay up all night. You take Michael out of the picture, that’s not a bad deal. Actually, michael was furious when he heard these allegations. At one point, he became so angry, he actually got some color in his face. It was amazing. … The british journalist, Martin Bashir, this guys is kind of sleazy, too. He’s the guy that did the documentary on Michael called ‘Living With Michael Jackson’. Well, he could be facing a jail sentence now, for being in contempt of court after refusing to answer questions from Jackson’s attorney, which is kind of ironic. So Bashir’s next documentary could be ‘Living in Prison with Michael Jackson’. … Michael Jackson claims that his partner would sleep in the bed while he slept on the floor. Same arrangement the Clintons have. … As you may have heard, I’ve been named as a possible witness in the Michael Jackson trial. Actually, I’m not going to speak at the trial. What I’m going to do is tell my story with some anatomically correct dolls. That’ll make it easier for me.”
