JC Chasez Becomes Steiner Studios Shareholder

The New York Post reports *NSYNC star JC Chasez has bought 44,000 shares of Steiner Studios in October, spending about $150,000 to help finance the $118 million effort to bring Hollywood to Brooklyn. “I want to support bringing the arts, and especially film, back to New York and this opportunity in Brooklyn looks very promising,” Chasez explained. Robert De Niro and Miramax got cut out of the deal in 1999 in favor of the investor group that now includes Chasez.
