JC Chasez Talks ‘Schizophrenic’

According to RollingStone.com, JC Chasez took an active role in arranging and creating a diverse musical palette for his upcoming album, ‘Schizophrenic.’ “I took more of an artistic approach,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’m not sure about typical *NSYNC fans — I hope to take younger fans who grew up with us, and give them more to think about. I’m trying to respect their intelligence.” For the first single, ‘Some Girls (Dance With Women),’ JC enlisted director Martin Weisz to shoot the video, which should go into rotation early next month. A remix of the song has also been assembled with Dirt McGirt (the former Ol’ Dirty Bastard). “Musicians will respect it a lot more than anything I’ve ever done before,” he said. “This album is not about what’s going to sell.” Prior to Schizophrenic’s release, JC will kick off a short club tour.
