JC Chasez Under Fire For ‘Schizophrenic’

Schizophrenia sufferer Bill MacPhee spoke with Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com, blasting JC Chasez’s new album ‘Schizophrenic’ which features the *NSYNC star wearing a straitjacket. “I was shocked when I saw it, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I got,” MacPhee complained, adding that he planned to address the topic in a forthcoming issue of his magazine, Schizophrenia Digest. “It’s a serious illness, but people who have it can lead productive lives… This sort of thing can lead to further stigmatization and stereotyping of schizophrenia sufferers.”
