JC Plays It Safe With Justin Remark, But Fillets Clay

Rolling Stone caught up with JC Chasez to preview his new album ‘Schizophrenic’ and was asked about his bandmate Justin Timberlake’s claim that ‘Justified’ was better than anything *NSYNC put out. “You’re always trying to up the bar on yourself,” he said. “It’s probably his best performance and material because he’s pushed himself to get better. When we did ‘Celebrity’, he thought that was his best work.” JC was a little less diplomatic when pressured to reveal what kind of music he didn’t like. “I don’t want to hurt the kid’s feeling, but. Dude, I can’t take another Clay Aiken record,” JC opined.

Aiken added that strange letters are also something he gets from fans. “There’s some very interesting stuff we get,” Aiken explained. “I had one lady one time who told me that she and her husband (had sex) to videotapes from me on the show. I went and washed my hands right after I read that letter!”

Clay’s CD is WAY more tolerable than JC’s what the hell was he thinking? He talks a lot of crap for someone who can’t back it up.

Not everybody is a Clay fan. You people are teenyboppers for letting JC comment piss you off this much. He wasn’t trying to piss off Aiken he just said he wasn’t a fan of his music. JC understands that people don’t like his music (close minded Backstreet fans)

I don’t understand why you people are taking this as a diss. A lot of people don’t like Clay Aiken. A lot of people don’t like JC big deal. He wasn’t trying to start anything but he let the person who was giving him the interview answer the question. I’m sure he probably regret saying that now like when Britney Spear diss the RollingStone Magazine for a comment she regret but they force her into saying it.

Clay’s career will be over quicker than Kelly’s. Kelly had one hit from her album then the rest of the songs flopped. The only place you’ll see Clay in few years is doing Liza impersonations.

JC had a hand in writing all 17 tracks on his albums. Clay didn’t write one song on his. Clay’s album was rush released to capitalize on his newfound fame. There was not nearly the amount of thought that went into his album that went to JC’s. Clay is still on the line to becoming a one hit wonder.

I’m a big Nsync fan, and I’m also a Clay fan. I bought JC’s CD Tuesday, and almost every song on it makes me laugh. JC is talented, but he shouldn’t talk bad about any singer, especially one as talented as Clay. Whether you like Clay or not, he has a great voice. JC shouldn’t be putting anyone’s music down until he listens to the crap songs HES put out.

  5. JLOVER101 says:

Unfortunately for JC, I don’t think Schizo will sell anywhere near the amount of albums that Clay sold his first week out. I think it would be much nicer of him to keep his mouth shut.

I would still expect him to do fairly well though, because he does have some radio friendly stuff on there, it’s just totally different from what I was expecting. Oh, and I wasn’t expecing *Nsync music either, but I was expecting so much more, and I didn’t get that.

  6. clayfan says:

I don’t think JC needs to bother dusting off the shelves to make room for a double-platinum album award like Clay got. We also won’t be seeing JC at No. 1 on the album chart like we saw Clay. Only insecure former boybanders need to diss The Clayton.

  7. popnicklover says:

JC shouldn’t be criticizing other artists who’ve made better albums than his crapfest of a record. Sure, it’s his opinion, but nobody forced him to listen to Clay’s album, so it’s really his own fault that he listened to it. If you don’t like Clay, fine, then don’t listen to anymore of his albums.

  8. Lava33 says:

I don’t know what all you clay-mates are talking about. JC’s album is very good and I know you haters haven’t bought it by the comments some of you have made. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DISS SOMEONE’S ALBUM AT LEAST LISTEN TO IT OR SHUT THE HECK UP IF YOU HAVEN’T! I have listened to Clay’s album, its ok. He basically plays it safe. JC takes risks in his music, but I guess it depends on what type of music you like. JC didn’t make that comment about clay in a malicious or nasty way, its his opinion. NOT EVERYONE LOVES CLAY! GET OVER IT!
