JC Wants To Escape Boy Band Past Without Justin Comparisons

Andrew Goldstein of The New York Post profiled the solo launch of , but questioned how the *NSYNC star could fully emerge from bandmate ’s shadow. “When Justin’s record came out, no one wanted to believe how good it was,” argued Rolling Stone’s Joe Levy. “It’s the same with [Chasez's] record, which is just very smart, very sharp dance music.
