Jen Says She & Ben Were ‘Just Friends’ On ‘Gigli’ Set
Jennifer Lopez is trying to put to rest old gossip about what happened on the set of ‘Gigli’ with co-star Ben Affleck, during which time she was still married to Cris Judd. “We just became friends,” J. Lo tells Reader’s Digest in its August issue. “I’m a very faithful person. If somebody had told me, ‘Ben’s attracted to you,’ I would have said, ‘No. I wasn’t raised that way.’” Lopez admitted that she and Judd “were having problems” at the time, “but that’s one thing Ben and I never talked about. I felt it was too private and sacred — to talk about that with another man wouldn’t have been cool.”
