The Sunday People caught up with Jennifer Ellison who moves from television to pop with the release of her first single, ‘Baby I Don’t Care’, tomorrow. Ellison insists she’s that despite the cynics, she’s got the goods. “I know what people will be thinking: ‘Another soap star who thinks she can sing’,” she said. “The thing is, I never set out to be a soap star, it happened by accident. I always planned to sing and dance because that’s what I do best. At three, I knew that one day I would be a pop star.”
