Dan Aquilante of the New York Post reviewed Jennifer Lopez’s ‘This Is Me… Then’ continuing the negative response. “No doubt, this album’s sticky sentiments will please schoolgirls and gossip mongers who’ll try to tie this disc to Lopez’s real-life love antics,” he said. “But if you’re looking for songs that will last as long as the plastic they’re printed on, don’t bother.” He added, “Lopez’s voice is good – but it’s not the asset she insures for a million bucks.”
