The New York Daily News reports Jennifer Lopez has signed a deal to produce a documentary with HBO about Los Quinces, a traditional coming-of-age ball held to mark a Cuban girl’s 15th birthday. The film will be produced by Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions, and shot in Miami later this year. “At Nuyorican, we are committed to producing unique and provocative films, so a documentary on this tradition is a natural fit for us,” Lopez said in a statement.
