Jennifer Lopez Is Being Sued For ‘I’m Glad’ Video

According to Billboard.com, Jennifer Lopez is being sued for copyright infringement for her video ‘I’m Glad,’ an homage to the film ‘Flashdance,’ by Maureen Marder, who was the dancer inspired for the film. The lawsuit, filed on November 13, claims that Lopez and her label, Epic, didn’t have permission to make the video, which re-created distinctive scenes from the movie. Marder refused to grant sequel rights or to permit any further use of her story after the film became a success, according to her attorney Robert Hefling. Read more.
