The New York Post reports not only did Jennifer Lopez skip her Moscow store opening last weekend, she also stood up 450 orphans and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Lopez’s no-show – and her manager Simon Fields’ denial that she was ever going to show up in the first place – has left the Russians fuming. Melanie A. Bonvicino, a spokesperson for the Russian JLo licensee, Toroil S.A., raged: “Contrary to Simon Fields’ statements on Tuesday, there definitely exists a valid and binding agreement with my clients, Toroil, S.A., which has been signed by both Ms. Lopez and Mr. Fields.”
