Variety reports that Jennifer Lopez will take on the same role Destiny’s Child singer Beyonce Knowles did with an updated version of the classic opera ‘Carmen’. The guy behind the script is Craig Pearce, who co-wrote the screenplays for director Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom.
