Miami’s resident diva, Jennifer Lopez, opened the 2004 Video Music Awards solo while hubby Marc Anthony looked on from the audience. The actress chose a super-tight champagne dress designed by Stella McCartney. “Finally, MTV has come to its senses and brought the biggest night in music to the steamiest and sexiest town on the planet,” Lopez told the crowd. After that she introduced Usher’s performance.
