October 2, 2001 – MSNBC’s Jeannette Walls reports Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted at Keyes Mercedes in Van Nuys, California buying a $120,000 Mercedes to match her gold sunglasses. A spy told her, “It was definitely for her. She was holding her gold-framed sunglasses up against the car to make sure that the color was a match.”
The spokesman for Lopez denied the story while the dealership declined comment saying, “If she did buy a car here, we wouldn’t tell you. Celebrities come here expecting their privacy.”
