The National Enquirer reports Jennifer Love Hewitt overheard a guy at a restaurant telling his kids to order cheap because they were trying to save money. She got up and slipped the father a hundred bucks and told him to let the kids order whatever they wanted.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, I’m not saying this story is fabricated. However, whenever anyone posts something negative about an artist in the enquirer everyone jumps to their defense, saying things like “and the enquirer is supposed to be a reliable source of information” so how can we be sure that in this instance they in fact are telling the truth?
