Jennifer Love Hewitt Signs On For New TV Series

Variety reports Jennifer Love Hewitt signed on with Touchstone Television for a half-hour comedy to be written and exec produced by Sachs and Judah (‘Freaks and Geeks’). The project is being designed as a starring vehicle for the former ‘Party of Five’ and ‘Time of Your Life’ star, who will co-exec produce via her Love Spell Entertainment shingle. Touchstone execs, led by prexy Steve McPherson, will likely begin formally pitching the idea after Thanksgiving.
