Jermaine Calls Michael’s Charges Another ‘Extortion’ Attempt
In an interview with The Mirror, Jermaine Jackson is again standing up for his brother Michael Jackson after the King of Pop was arrested on child molestation charges. “This is a modern-day lynching,” Jermaine again stated. “My brother has become a threat like Christ became a threat, like Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi became a threat. Their humility became a threat. They were so kind they were a threat. My brother’s consciousness has become a threat because he is a person who cares about people.” He added, “This is a second attempt at extortion. Michael has 3,000 acres of land. His property is worth £70million. They know it’s a payday.”
