‘Jersey Girl’ Director Insists J.Lo & Ben Affleck Aren’t Dating

Carrie Rickey of the Philadelphia Inquirer spoke with Kevin Smith who will be filming ‘Jersey Girl’, starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in Philadelphia beginning in mid-August. Smith says Affleck was instrumental in getting Lopez involved in the project. “He really had a great time working with Lopez and pushed her big-time for ‘Jersey Girl’,” he said, referring to the pair working together on ‘Gigli’. Did Affleck push J.Lo because of a romantic interest? “Are they dating? Unequivocally, no,” Smith insisted.
