Jess Origliasso Slams Carrie Prejean’s Gay Marriage Beliefs

Jess Origliasso of reacted to the controversy surrounding Miss California USA on her Twitter account (@Jessicaveronica), reacting to the controversy Perez Hilton sparked at the Miss USA pageant on Sunday night. When Miss California USA was asked by Perez about gay marriage, Carrie Prejean responded that she believes “that a marriage should be between a man and a woman.” Jess, who performed with her sister Lisa at the pageant, writes:

Thinks I would have made a MUCH better candidate for MISS CALI.. at least my views within society are EVOLVED from the Caveman era!!!!!

Is HOME and excited about all the support in Human rights/Gay Marriage coming from AMERICA and the rest of the world! <3

    first of all, what does her views on political opinions have ANY THING at all to do with beauty. Absolutely nothing. I don’t know why they asked such a loaded question. While I don’t completely agree with her opinion (and even I I completely disagreed) she did the right thing by answering truthfully. normally, California disappoints me in everything they do but I was proud of her for not cracking under pressure and saying what everyone wanted her to say. Marriage originated as a Christian/religious tradition and Christianity clearly makes a strong case against gays so for her to say gay marriage shouldn’t be enacted, I agree because then that would be defiling the institution of marriage. They could make civil unions. But besides my opinions, I’m proud she had the balls to stick to her guns

    Carrie Prejean is a girl that deserves to win the title that she won. She maybe against gay marriage but we should respect her opinion.
