Jesse McCartney Looks To Mature His Sound On Sophomore LP

After his 5-week shoot for ‘Keith’ in November, Jesse McCartney tells MuchMusic he plans to chill for a few weeks before heading back into the studio for a few months to write and record his next album. “I’d looooove to work with the Neptunes,” he says admiringly. So, can we expect a whole new Jesse? “I don’t know if it’ll be a totally new sound – more of a mature sound. My first album I recorded when I was 15 and 16 and I’m gonna be 19 soon. So by the time my next record comes out I want to make sure my music goes with my age, so The Neptunes would be a great place to start.” Read more.
