Jessica Simpson And President Bush Have A Lot In Common
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “This is kind of like a mini scandal — not a scandal. But I guess Jessica Simpson was supposed to speak at a a Republican fundraiser where President Bush was at. But then at the last minute, she changed her mind and didn’t go. She snubbed the President. You’d think maybe she’d be like her sister and pretape something. … But no, she’s — see, I’m surprised that Jessica’s distancing herself from the President. I mean, they have a lot in common. They’re both from Texas. They’re both under constant press scrutiny. And both of them have no clue about what’s going on in Iraq.”
