Jessica Simpson Comedy Gets Picked Up By ABC

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thursday was a busy day for ABC, which picked up six pilots, one of them being and untitled show starring Jessica Simpson. The MTV icon is going to be playing a fictionalized version of herself. So we can expect some more golden moments like the Chicken Of The Sea trip. In the pilot Jessica signs on to do part-time work as an on-air reporter sending a studious female producer of a primetime news magazine show life in a tails spin.
