Michael Ventre of MSNBC is reacting to Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens after the controversial athlete lashed out at Jessica Simpson for being in attendance at Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, where her boyfriend Tony Romo played one of his worst games ina 10-6 loss. “Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite in this locker room or in Texas Stadium,” Owens said. “I think with everything that has happened, and obviously the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel like she’s probably taking his focus away. Other than that, she was at the top of my list until last week. I’ve got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned.”
Ventre said, “To fully appreciate the ramifications of this, you have to look at the big picture, which means pulling your eyes away from Jessica. The focus has indeed been taken away, but T.O. is the one doing it and putting it on himself. It took longer than most experts predicted, but Mount T.O. is spewing sparks, and a river of hot molten lava could begin oozing through Texas even before the playoffs.” Read more.
