OK, how many new sitcoms come out every fall? answer about 10. Now how many survive beyond the first eight weeks? answer about half. Those that make it past that? answer 3 or 4 and that’s in a good season. If she does have a show it will be among those that don’t survive the first weeks of the season. Look at how many times (3) it took Bonnie Hunt to get a show that wasn’t yanked in the first weeks of the season and she is a stand up comic.
