According to MTV News, Jessica Simpson is going to Harvard and other Ivy League schools to perform and host a question-and-answer session with students in early 2004. The trip will be filmed for the second season of ‘Newlyweds.’ Jessica’s manager and father, Joe Simpson, said the idea was inspired by ‘Legally Blonde.’ Before the Ivy League tour, Simpson will warm up with a similar string of concert and Q&A events at high schools across the country. That outing begins October 23 in Atlanta and visits Dallas, Oklahoma City, Charlotte, Orlando, Tampa, Chicago and Kansas City before ending November 11 in Minneapolis. Along with the tours, Simpson has been busy meeting with movie producers about a number of projects, including a big screen adaptation of ‘I Dream of Jeannie’. Read more.

If anyone shows up for this at the Ivy League schools, it will be simply because they need a break from their hard work. She is gonna be laughed at so much, but hey it will make a great episode of ‘Newlyweds.’ Oh, and I really can’t see Jessica in ‘I Dream of Jeannie’. I don’t know if she can act or not, but if we’ve never seen her in small roles, how is she gonna take over the big screen?
This is the only way she will ever get onto the Harvard campus!

She’s so dumb that she’s funny! let’s see how much dumber she gets on her second season of “newlyweds.” There are all smart asses in Harvard, I am not sure if Jess can stand in front of them.
Hey now…be nice!! I know she ain’t the brightest crayon in the box, but cut her some slack…. I really think the show is scripted…to an extent, cause I’ve seen stuff where she’s not really that stupid! As for the tour thing….I would LOVE to check her out when she’s here in KC! I know I heard something on the radio for it, so I’m gonna have to look into that!
She was on that 70′s show, she plays a really good ditzy girl. I guess I dream of Jeanie is kinda of a ditzy role.
