Jessica Simpson has signed for a $15 million deal with a licensing management group that will organize and expand her fashion and accessories brand, reported Women’s Wear Daily. Kelli Delaney, editor in chief of Celebrity Living magazine, spoke with The New York Daily News about the deal, believed to be the largest transaction of its kind, ever. “Not only do tons of young girls want to dress and look like Jessica Simpson in terms of what her style is, they just love her as a brand,” Delaney said. “So whether they realize what the elements of her style are or not, they’re going to buy anything that she attaches her name to at this point.”
