Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey Breakup A Publicity Stunt

The New York Post reports an item that many on this site have been making speculations about from the start – that last year’s split between Jessica Simpson and her 98 Degrees fiance Nick Lachey was a hoax designed to get some publicity for their careers. The couple got back together supposedly after 9.11 but insiders laugh, “It was all a publicity stunt. They wanted some attention on their careers and so they broke up. Unfortunately, no one really cared, so they got back together.”
