Jessica Simpson’s spokesman Rob Shuter e-mailed the following to Lloyd Grove of The New York Daily News: “I can confirm that Jessica and her family have anonymously contributed money to orphanages for several years. It is true that Jessica is exploring options to further help these children in need.” Shuter wouldn’t say if that may or may not include adopting an orphan.
