Jessica Simpson plays Daisy Duke in ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’. She talked to ‘The Early Show’ co-anchor Harry Smith Monday about her film debut. She also played down any talk that she would star in a film with husband Nick Lachey. “You know,” Simpson said, “the track record on that is (not good). You know, we like to do the specials, and we went over to Iraq and performed for the troops. We like to do stuff like that. I don’t know if we’ll ever really do a movie together. Uh huh..if you were so happy with him you wouldn’t mind filming a movie with him. The average movie takes 52 days to film. “Oh no, not enough time to have an affair with Johnny, can’t do this movie!” *throws script out*
and Hilary movies take even less days!
^^Um, are you kidding? Why would you take on a project that was almost guaranteed to fail just because you love someone? She doesn’t need to prove herself by making some stupid movie with Nick.
Those husband and wife/couple movies never end up working so well, not in all cases there are a few that did well, but not for the most part.
