Joe Simpson left a new message on his daughter’s official site message board breaking the unfortunate news that Jessica’s grandmother is in a coma and is likely days from death. Jessica has cancelled events for the next few days because of this as she sits bedside with her.
Joe also revealed that the family will be heading to the middle east in the middle of November as Jessica Simpson performs for soldiers in the middle east, at the request of President Bush. Joe says Jessica quickly agreed and has “a place in her heart for her country and those protect its freedom.”
